What it is
Plainlyst reads companies’ published privacy policies and writes down what they say they collect, share and keep — in plain English, with the company’s own wording underneath.
It is built and run by one small company. There is no advertising in it, no data collected about the people who read it, and nothing sold to anybody.
It does not rate companies, and it never will. What a policy says is a fact worth reporting. What that makes a company is a judgment, and it is yours to make.
